Woodward Financials are also a pre-IPO wealth firm who are now in a position to bring on a Mortgage Adviser as part of there growing services team.

You will receive great leads, gain fantastic support, develop key relationships with clients and be part of a growing business. The successful candidate will be looking for a long-term career move and embrace the company goal of working as a team towards a public listing.

In order to be considered for the position you must be a current Mortgage Adviser with your CeMAP qualification or industry equivalent and hold CAS status. Woodward Financials have an untapped client bank of clients with asset under advice north of £350 million, if you’re interested in playing an integral part in its continued growth, get in touch, this position won’t be around long.

Skills and experience required:

  • CeMap qualified with at least 1 year proven experience in a whole of market mortgage broking environment, you will need to demonstrate a track record of success and knowledge within Financial Services, specialising in mortgage and protection advice.
  • A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Being a team player is essential.
  • Able to manage changing workload.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop your knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge on HMO’s (Development Finance & Bridging preferable but not essential)
  • A track record of new business generation, building relationships and maintaining relationships for years to come.
  • Good knowledge of compliance, TCF, Data Protection Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask appropriate questions of clients.
  • Good analysis skills, money management skills and planning skills. Supported by leading technology.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to assist clients.
  • Flexibility/adaptability to cope with change.
  • Intelligent Office skills preferable but not essential

Additional job description with support.

  • Regular liaison with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status.
  • Proactively progress mortgage and protection applications through to completion.
  • Dealing with incoming calls, emails and post.
  • Submission of mortgage & protection applications with the assistance of support teams.
  • Check submitted loan packs from brokers ensuring they fit lending criteria.
  • Answer telephone calls and queries from clients within Service Level Agreement timescales.
  • Process all outstanding documentation and ensure the broker and client are fully up to date with their cases, keeping open channels of communication.
  • Complete regular scripted security calls with customers at final stage of the loan process.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year OTE £50,000+ uncapped

Trainee Financial Advisers – Swindon We are now looking to recruit a Trainee/Junior Adviser to join our friendly team, but this is no ordinary role due to our unique algorithm driving our enhanced active management service, there will be a real interest in our service for years to come and will be a game changer in the industry, the role will be working closely with our senior advisers and engaging with clients, You will shadow our qualified advisers and you will be  provided with ongoing training, you will also be required to managing clients with the support provided. We are looking for someone who is ideally working in a similar position or an individual who is looking to take the next step of their career into a client facing/IFA role. To be considered you need to be diploma qualified or at least working towards (within two exams). £20,000 per year + Commission, will increase when qualified.

Trainee Insurance Adviser – Swindon This is a rare opportunity to join a company that will genuinely invest in your development, taking you from a trainee adviser to senior adviser within an agreed time frame. This is no ordinary role due to our unique algorithm driving our enhanced active management service, there will be a real interest in our service for years to come and will be a game changer in the industry. You will be given full training in order to reach competent adviser status and will be guided through all of the relevant RO1 and RO5 qualifications, this is an opportunity to join a passionate team within a fantastic unique financial services business and begin building a long-term career within Financial Services. £18,000  per year + Commission, will increase when qualified.
